It's not too often I get to flex my city centre muscles when it comes to wedding photography but when Alison and Callum told me their plans I knew I had to be their wedding photographer!
This wedding exemplifies that to have a brilliant wedding day you don't need to do the traditional sit down meal, big party shenanigans. They got married in the absolutely beautiful Shakespeare Room in the Library of Birmingham followed by a drinks reception on the secret gardens of the library as the sun began to set over the city.
After opening hours of the library I had the chance to take some portraits around the library before we headed back to Hotel Du Vin so that Alison could have a haircut - yes, you read that right. Once she'd had the chop we then headed down to Flight Club where everyone had an absolute ball! Who doesn't love some darts, drinks and pretty much endless food?!
I absolutely adored this wedding, it was just so reflective of Alison and Callum as a couple as well as their absolutely lovely friends and family. This was the wedding where within 10 minutes of meeting me one of the guests referred to me as a 'spicy bitch' and it's something I am taking as na advertising technique!
